"It's not the camera"

 

Photography is almost a compullsion and despite the quote above, it does have a lot to do with the camera.  There is a sort of symbiotic relationship between me and the camera i'm using.  We have to have a good working relationship and I have to know how its going to behave.  I work at it! 

 

The most important part of photography is the lens.  Every lens has its own unique quality.  I use a mixture of new and, let's call them 'older', lenses.  Each produces a unique look.  Discovering the abilities of the lens is really important to me.
