Here are 70 or so, recent drawings from a weekend drawing session. You could say (and i think i will), that they are reminiscent of Renoir, Matisse and possibly Lautrec. You might not agree with that short analysis so I will also say that they are gestural drawings. They are drawn directly from the model, as the model moves.  They are not about accurate representation, they are about movement and mood. They give a sense of the model as they work.

The pose lengths vary from 1 minute to 20 minutes.  I used a mixture of drawing media both dry and wet.  The smallest drawings are 13 x 9.5 and the largest 20 x 14 inches.
